PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed image forming device where offset, the unevenness of an image, and the unevenness of glossiness are prevented from occurring. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an intermediate transfer body 1 to which toner images formed on toner image carriers 11Y, 11M, 11C and 11K are transferred, a supply means 16 for supplying material to be transferred 6 to a transfer fixing position P2, and a heating and pressuring means 4 heating and pressuring the transfer body 1 and the material 6 in a superposed state while holding the toner image 5 in between so that the toner image 5 on the transfer body 1 may be transferred and fixed on the material 6. In such a case, the device is equipped with a cooling means 20 provided with a 1st member 21 having a surface 21a curved to be projected toward the member 6 from the transfer body 1 in the circularly moving direction of the transfer body 1 and sliding on the transfer body 1 through the surface 21a and a 2nd member 22 pressing the transfer body 1 and the material 6 to the 1st member 21, which hold the transfer body 1 and the material 6 after heating and pressuring in between. |
