PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multiple glass not causing displacement of position even in a long-term use without impairing beauty by pressing and sealing glass nonwoven fabric between glass plates. SOLUTION: This multiple glass is obtained by setting a spacer for retaining space between two sheets of glass at a definite interval in the periphery of two sheets of glass plates, packing a sealing agent between the outer periphery of the spacer and end edge of glass plate and sealing the space between glass plates. In the multiple glass, glass nonwoven fabric 2 thicker than space thickness of the glass plates 1A and 1B is pressed and sealed by glass plates 1A and 1B. The glass nonwoven fabric preferably used is obtained by blending <=50wt.% glass fiber having 12-18μm average fiber diameter and 15-30mm fiber length with 100-50wt.% glass fiber having 18-30μm average fiber diameter and 30-100mm fiber length and processing the blend. An acrylic resin is preferably used as a binder of glass nonwoven fabric. |
