PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save memory capacity and to reduce the processing time in the case of receiving image data and interpolating the data. SOLUTION: When an SCSI controller 200 outputs a DACK/signal and receives two picture elements each, the picture element is given respectively to selectors 503, 504. Simultaneously a picture element just before the received picture element is stored in a D-FF 502. An interpolation counter 5091 outputs a carry when the interpolation between two picture elements is finished and a selection signal PHASE is inverted to 0/1 for each carry. Thus, as a picture element going to be interpolated, whether interpolation is conducted by using an odd order number and an even order number picture element just after it or interpolation is conducted by using an even order number and an odd order number picture element just after it is decided. The carry signal is inputted to a sequencing circuit 501 and a DACK/signal being a read request for succeeding two picture elements used for the interpolation is used for the output. Thus, transfer and magnification of image data are processed simultaneously. |
