SOLUTION: In this ink cartridge mounting structure for mounting the ink cartridge 10 containing a ink holding body 13, in a large number of pores of which ink is held, to an ink jet printer, space holding members 41 and 42, which hold the predetermined space between the front wall 11 of the ink cartridge 10 and the front wall 17 of a head holder 14 and press the ink cartridge 10 against the ink jet printer within the elastic deformation limit of the ink holding body 13, are equipped. |
