In the case of ancillary equipment, which comprises two support beams 4, 5, which can be fitted to the walls in an excavation 6, on which a carrier bar 7, which carries a boring machine 2 with a core drill 3 for boring out a hole in a laid concrete pipe 1, and which equipment is fixed in the excavation by clamping between the support beams 4, 5, the bar for this purpose having a hydraulic clamping pad 10, which presses two grip plates 8, 9 against the support beams, the novelty resides in the fact that the support beams 4, 5 are equipped with longitudinally displaceable support plates 11, 12 for the grip plates 8, 9 of the carrier bar 7. This facilitates the placing and adjustment of the boring machine 2, since the carrier bar 7 can first be clamped between the support plates 11, 12 without having to consider the final adjustment, following which the support plates are adjusted by means, for example, of crank handles 13, 14, which through screw spindles (not shown) inside the support beams can move the support plates up or down until the carrier bar and hence the boring machine are at the correct height in relation to the concrete pipe. The ancillary equipment may also comprise a stand (not shown), which is designed to keep the support beams parallel with one another and upright, for example on the ground at the side of a pipe in which a hole is to be bored. <IMAGE> |
