PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a navigation system as the effective advertisement medium and local information service, by down loading a set of the character information and the position information from a remote data base by using a radio communication device, and displaying the information corresponding to the relationship between a current position of a navigation system and the information position. SOLUTION: The data base for loading the real time information for a navigation system 10, is installed at a remote fixed position, to load the information and the position relating to the information. And the navigation system detects its own position at the starting, and loads the information table of an area of the own position by using a radio communication device 18. Further the kind of the desired information is selected by using an input device 12. During the operation, the system detects the own position, and down loads the character information and the position information from the data base by the radio communication device 18. At that time, the distance between the own position and the information position on the information table is checked, to be displayed on an image plane or to be output by voice, corresponding to the attribute of the information. |
