PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a receptor paper for melt type thermal transfer recording capable of obtaining recorded images with a good transferring property, reproductivity, and high grade and high quality without fouling whitened parts at a print starting period and recorded images with respect to a receptor paper used in a melt type thermal transfer method. SOLUTION: The receptor paper for melt type thermal transfer recording is provided with an ink receptor layer consisting mainly of an adhesive and pigment on the base paper, and the receptor layer contains a lubricant consisting at least one kind selected from higher fatty acid compounds of carbon numbers 12-21 with a wet index of 32-40(dyn/cm) on the basis of JIS K 6768 relative to the pigment by 5-60wt.%. |
