<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a color printer smaller in size, light in weight and cheaper in cost by providing a slit member and the developer projection means on the developer feeding means. SOLUTION: In this printer, the developer feeding mechanism is composed of the developer tank containing the developer, the developer sink part connected to the developer tank through a feeding path, the slit member 48 attached on a front end side of the developer sink, bias electrodes 51 and 52, and the developer projection actuator 53 (developer projecting means) severally attached to the slit member 48, a pressure fluctuation preventing mechanism or the like. Then, at the time of printing by feeding the liquid developer, when drive voltage is applied on a piezoelectric element 55 of the developer projection actuator 53, respective center part in the front/rear direction of a metal plate 54 and the piezoelectric element 55 is inflated at a stretch toward a minute gap G inside, therefore the pressure of the liquid developer inside the micro gap G increases, and a part of the liquid developer is projected outside from the tip of the minute gap G.</p> |
