摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of quantitatively diagnosing faults of equipment or device without personal difference. SOLUTION: This device has a source operating application condition value storage part 2 for storing a value judged proper at the time point of diagnosis for each operating application condition item of equipment or device 1 and an operating performance measured value storage part 3 based on that value. A simulator 4 for the equipment or device 1 is installed. An operating performance expected value storage part 5 based on the simulator 4 is provided. A fault diagnostic part 6 is provided for discriminating the fault according to the presence/ absence of difference between the measured value and the expected value. An operating application condition inference part 7 is provided for estimating the operating application conditions again by inferring the presence/absence of difference in the value showing which operating application condition item is judged proper at the time of diagnosis when the difference is more than an allowable value. A knowledge storage part 8 is provided for acquiring and storing knowledge through the evaluation of the estimated operating application condition value based on the simulator 4. This device is provided with a fault cause inference part 9 for inferring the cause through the stored knowledge by repeating inference and actual calculation until the difference is settled within the allowable value, and composed of an output part 10 for reporting the factor.
