PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device provided with high reliability and durability by preventing a main switch from excessive heating, and restraining damage on the main switch itself and adverse influence exerting on peripheral equipment. SOLUTION: This power source circuit 100 in the image forming device is provided with the main switch 110 for switching on/off of AC voltage applied from AC power source on the image forming device main body through an AC input part 102, and AC-DC conversion circuit 120 for converting the AC voltage applied from the main switch 110 into DC voltage of a specific level. A CPU 77 applies the DC voltage of a specified level corresponding to a reset signal from the AC-DC conversion circuit 120 to the main switch 110 through the CPU 77 when the image forming device is in an inactive state and the specified time elapsed. At this time, the reset signal is noncontinually fed even if the main switch 110 is not self interrupted. |
