PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fluctuation of the developer quantity in a developing unit from occurring by performing the developer returning operation to the developing unit for the specified time after restart of the power feeding in the case the operation is suspended by the power cut-off during the recovering operation of the developer, and resuming the developer recovering operation thereafter. SOLUTION: This device temporarily feeds the developer in one body type container 10 to the developing unit 54 inside in a feeding mode, if the information of a memory is a recovery starting signal 1. Then, the one body type container 10 is empty at the point of time entering in the recovering mode, the used developer is recovered in the container by the recovering operation, however the recovery of developer is not completed when the information of the memory is a recovery starting signal 1, and what extent it is recovered as comparing with a specified recovering quantity is not clear, therefore the developer under recovery is temporarily discharged from the container with use of the feeding mode. Therefore the feeding mode is continued for the time of permitting to discharge the developer in the quantity corresponding to the prescribed recovering quantity, the container inside is made completely empty. Thereafter, the developer recovering mode executed. |
