PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent jam at a confluent part of conveying passages by providing a medium guide at the confluent part of the passages, and forming a gap between passbook conveying passages substantially the same as that between slip conveying passages. SOLUTION: A medium guide 34 is bumped against a limiter by pressing springs 33a, 33b to that a gap between passbook passages 30 at a confluent part 32 of conveying passages 29 and 30 becomes that between slip conveying passage 29. A plurality of the guides 34 are provided between a plurality of clamp rollers 16 so as to be vertically movable by the springs 33a, 33b, and chamfered in a medium conveying direction. Thus, a jam at the part 32 of the passages 29, 30 can be prevented. Even if the gap of the passage 30 is narrowed, a passbook or a certificate having a strong drape does not affect influence of a medium conveyance of the passage 30. |
