PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission with an exhaust duct to excellently reduce the generation of exhaust noise and prevent entrance of dust. SOLUTION: A continuously variable transmission is constituted such that a continuously variable transmission incorporated in a belt chamber is cooled by outside air, which is discharged through an exhaust duct 17. In this case, a sound absorbing material 18 is incorporated in the exhaust duct 17 and a mesh 19 to prevent jump-out of the sound absorbing material 18 and entrance of stones and dust from the outside is attached on the outlet side of the exhaust duct 17.
