PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of processing by reducing a calculating quantity at the time of transforming an original shape to an approximate shape. SOLUTION: An image forming means 2 prepares an image obtained by projecting the original shape expressed by shape data in a shape storing means 1 on a prescribed projecting plane (a cylindrical plane, e.g.) to store chrominance information (RGBA value) in a frame buffer 3 and a depth value (Z value) in a Z-buffer 4. A vertex deciding means 7 coordinates original shape and the approximate shape (mesh shape) consisting of plural designated points (grid points) consisting of two-dimensional coordinate values to decide the coordinate value of each vertex coordinated with a designated point on the surface of the original shape by the two-dimensional coordinate value of a corresponding designated point and the corresponding depth value of the Z-buffer to set data consisting of each vertex to be shape data of the approximate shape obtained by transforming the original shape data. |
