PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a fat standard diet used for measurement of a lipid in blood carried out for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment of hyperlipidemia, etc. SOLUTION: This fat standard diet has the fatty acid composition in the whole fats comprising 40-85wt.% expressed in terms of saturated fatty acids, 10-40wt.% expressed in terms of monovalent unsaturated fatty acids and 1-25wt.% expressed in terms of polyvalent unsaturated fatty acids. The form of the standard diet is in the form of a custard cream, an ice cream, a sausage, a margarine, a butter, a fresh cream, a mayonnaise, a chocolate, etc. The total amount of the fats is 30-60wt.% based on the weight of the standard diet and a specific volume thereof is 90-150%. The standard diet is received by test subject with low resistance and suitable for obtaining a stable lipid concentration in blood in achieving the object. |
