PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically detect a switching time accompanying arrival of the use life of a consumption type electrode in an electrolysis tester provided with consumption type electrode. SOLUTION: The electrolysis tester is provided with a DC power source which is electrically connected to between a test body and a consumption type electrode which are dipped in an electrolyte, and a judging device 123 for judging the replacing time of the consumption electrode. Use life of the consumption type electrode is represented as a valid current amount C1 which is a product of a current and a time. The judging device 123 accumulates a use current amount C2 in the consumption type electrode during test, and compares the valid current amount C1 with an accumulated use current amount C3 at the test start time, and transmits an electrode switch signal when C1 <C3 . |
