PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive to more stabilize the discharging amount and speed of liquid and more improve the controllability of the discharging amount of the liquid by a method wherein the environment, under which the pressure of the liquid is efficiently applied to a movable member, is formed in the discharging system of the liquid on the basis of a new discharging principle using the mov able member. SOLUTION: In a constitution, in which a movable member 31 is arranged so as to face to a bubble generating region 11, at which a bubble 40 is generated by the heat energy emitted from a heating element 2, so as to control the growing direction of the bubble 40 by the displacement of the movable plate 31, driving pulses applied to the heating element 2 are divided into first pulses and second pulses, the pulse width of the former first pulse is controlled, and liquid is preheated by the first pulses and then bubble 40 is generated in the liquid by the latter second pulses. |
