PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation device used in a tube device for medical use capable of automatically detaching the tube device from a patient when physically dividing force is applied to a tube. SOLUTION: This separation device 18 is provided with a first part 20 provided with a first through-path 22 provided with a first valve 24 and a second part 30 provided with a second through-path 32 provided with a second valve 34. The first valve 24 and the second valve 34 are energized to a normally closed position but can be operated to an open position. The second part 30 is freely releasably attached to the first part 20, the first path 22 and the second path 32 are connected, fluid is communicated, the first valve 24 and the second valve 34 are opened and the flow of the fluid passed through the device is allowed. When force selected beforehand smaller than the force for physically destructing an access device for the medical use attached to the tube device is applied to the second part 30, the second part 30 is detached from the first part 20, the first valve 24 and the second valve 34 are operated to the normally closed position and the flow of the fluid from a fluid storage and the access device for the medical use is practically stopped. |
