RETRIEVAL SYSTEM FOR DATA BASE WITH DOCUMENT FORM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a retrieval system which outputs a result complying with user's setting by retrieving data under a specified set condition, allocating the retrieved data to a set document, and generating the document. SOLUTION: Selected kinds and item names are extracted by document form input 11 and displayed. A table head item is set by table head item input 12 and a table side item is set by table side item input 13 in order. Data items are selected and defined by data item definition input 14. Conditions that determine retrieval data uniquely for set document generation are set by retrieval condition input 16. A set information storage 17 stores those set pieces of information. A retrieval command is generated by retrieval command generation 18. This retrieval command is used to retrieve object data by data retrieval 19 and the data are supplied to data editing 20. Necessary operation is performed by the data editing 20 and the information is allocated to specific positions according to the table top and table side stored in the setting information storage 17.
