摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure an appropriate oil film pressure between a rotary plate and a static plate so as to stabilize the performance of a bearing by forming the shape of the joints of the split rotary plate, of a vertical surface and a horizontal surface arranged in the vicinity of the sliding surface side of the rotary plate. SOLUTION: A bearing device is equipped with a plurality of static plates 3 arranged around the circumference of a main shaft 2 and a split rotary plate 20 arranged on an upper side by being opposed to the static plates 3. Joints 21 formed on both sides of a pair of split surfaces of this rotary plate 20 respectively comprise two vertical surfaces 21a, 21b and a horizontal surface 21c. Then, during operation, the sliding surface side of the rotary plate 20 increases its temperature higher than a mounting surface side in a thrust collar 2a by frictional heat due to the sliding between the rotary shaft 20 and the static plates 3, and the sliding surface sides of the joints 21 are going to be opened by thermal expansion, however, the horizontal surface 21c arranged in the vicinity of the sliding surfaces of the joints 21 of the rotary plate 20 is tightly stuck to the sliding surface sides, thereby the mutual displacement of the static plates 3 and the rotary plate 20 can be suppressed and a clearance between the joints 21 can be kept zero. Therefore, an appropriate oil film pressure can be ensured among the rotary plate 20 and the static plates 3.
