PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate coming off of ion exchange fine particles, make a separator excellent in an electrolyte holding property so that ion exchange performance can be displayed over a long period, by using a binder resin sealed to be infiltrated in a fine void or fine groove formed in a surface part of organic fiber constituting a porous sheet, and securing the ion exchange fine particles. SOLUTION: In a surface part of an olefin fiber 1, a fine void 2 or fine groove is provided. The fine void 2 or fine groove is formed by etching the olefin fiber 1 with an organic solvent. In a manner partly infiltrating in this fine void 2 or fine groove, a binder resin 3 is secured in a structure protruding to the outside, in a tip end part of this protruding part, an ion exchange fine particle 4 is fixed. As the binder resin 3, a styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene(SEBS) thermoplastic copolymer is desirable. |
