PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform optimization without independent compilation by dynamically converting a 1st object code into a 2nd object code, thereby generating profile information on application. SOLUTION: A source code 31 is complied in a step 32 so as to generate application 33. In a step 35, the application 33 is executed under a dynamic conversion routine so as to gather profile information. In a step 37, optimum application 38 is generated until 2nd compilation using the profile information 36. Namely, the application source code for the execution of optimization processing is compiled only twice. In the 1st compilation, the application is tested to inspect its adequacy and in the 2nd compilation, application is constructed by using profile data so as to further optimize the compiled application. |
