SOLUTION: A disk controller 10 has a resource manager 113 for processing the save of data into a flash memory 15 by managing the attribute of data to be stored in a cache memory 14, a voltage check circuit 16 for monitoring the quantity of remaining power at a battery unit 18 and finding the quantity of saving power required for executing the data saving processing based on the amount of data having a write data attribute on the cache memory 14 at the time of power failure, and a switch circuit 17 for receiving an instruction from the voltage check circuit 16 and controlling power supply from the battery unit 18 to the resource manager 113 and the flash memory 15. At the time when the remaining power amount of the battery unit 18 becomes less than the saving power amount in the case of service interruption, the data saving processing of only the data having the write data attribute is started.
