PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harmful gas processing equipment capable of treating harmful gas generated around an electrode disposed upright in electrolyte in an electrolytic cell. SOLUTION: A hood 194 for capturing harmful gas which covers the whole upper part of an electrode 13 is so arranged that one end side of the lower surface of the hood is positioned higher than the other end side. A suction inlet 202 of a processing pipe line 33 for harmful gas is arranged in the vicinity of the lower surface of the high position side of the hood 194. Generated harmful gas is smoothly guided to the suction inlet 202 and sucked by the guide effect of the hood 194.
