<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a printer. SOLUTION: The printer 1 is provided with a base frame 4 for guiding the carrying of a paper sheet. In the lower part of the base frame 4, a paper hopper part 11 disposed in nearly parallel with the diagonal of the multifunction printer 1 is provided. A paper feeding path 15 is formed into a circular-arc shape in front of the paper hopper part, and connected to the base frame 4 on the downstream side. Further, a process cartridge 16 for forming an image and a fixing unit 7 are arranged on the base frame 4 and a light source 22 is arranged between the process cartridge 16 and the fixing unit 7, above the base frame 4 as well.</p> |
