摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent awkward running caused by engine brake action by setting a brake so as to provide a range in which driving oil pressure which is neces sary for locking a rotary element in driving is reduced more than oil pressure at the time of non-driving which is necessary for locking the rotary element at the time of non-driving. SOLUTION: A brake B-3 is arranged so as to provide a range in which driving oil pressure which is necessary for locking a rotary element at the time of driving is reduced more than oil pressure at the time of non-driving which is necessary for locking the rotary element at the time of non-driving. Oil pressure which is lower than non-driving time oil pressure, equal or higher to/than driving oil pressure is supplied to a hydraulic servo 4, and thereby, the brake B-3 locks the rotary element at the time of driving so as to achieve a prescribed shifting position. At the time of transferring to non-driving when a throttle is converted from an ON-condition to an OFF-condition, the rotary element is not locked by the hand brake B-3. Since an engine brake is not actuated, awkward running of a vehicle is avoided.
