PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the patient's physiological burden by concentrating a peritoneal dialysis liquid by using semipermeable membranes until the plasma protein contained therein attains a specific volumetric concentrating magnification, then diluting the liquid by adding a specific amt. of a physiologically effective liquid thereto. SOLUTION: Concentrating units 11, 15 are formed of the known semipermeable membrane, such as synthetic high-polymer membranes. Electrolyte replenishing units 13, 17 are connected to the outlet conduits of the concentrating units 11, 15 or concd. liquid storage tanks 12, 16 so that the addition of the electrolytic soln. is made possible. The recovered peritoneal dialysis liquid is thickened by the semipermeable membranes of the concentrating units 11, 15 within the range of >=1.5 times the volumetric concentrating magnification and below the moisture content to make the redissolution of the org. matter components in the liquid difficult. This concd. liquid is diluted by adding >=0.5 times the amt. thereof and <=1.000 liter sterile or sterilized electrolytic soln. thereto from the electrolyte replenishing units 13, 17. Such operation is repetitively executed one to plural times. |
