PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct luminous driving stably without flickering a fluorescent lamp, for example, when it is used as a load by synchronizing the operation of a switching element with that of an inverter in a power converter. SOLUTION: This circuit is provided with a power converter PC which chops DC power source Vin through a switching element Q1 by operating the switching element Q1 on a chopping drive signal, an inverter IV which responds the input of its chopping pulse, and a detector LD which outputs a feedback signal corresponding to the error amount of lamp current flowing through a fluorescent lamp FL with the load driven by its inverter output. An AC waveform from the inverter IV is compared with the feedback signal, and a signal from the comparison is outputted into the switching element Q1 as a chopping drive signal. It is thus possible to synchronize the operation of the element Q1 with the operation of the inverter IV. |
