摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for converting a lower paraffinic hydrocarbon into an aromatic hydrocarbon in high conversion and selectivity by treating the lower paraffinic hydrocarbon with a specific catalyst. SOLUTION: A lower paraffinic hydrocarbon is treated with a metallosilicate catalyst at 300-500 deg.C. The metallosilicate catalyst is represented by the following composition: Si/Me (atomic ratio) is 25-3200 (Me represents Ge); OH/SiO2 (molar ratio) is 0.3-1.0; H2 O/SiO2 (molar ratio) is 30-100; R/(R + alkali metal) (molar ratio) is 0.05-0.15 (R is a quaternary alkylammonium cation); NaCl/H2 O (molar ratio) is 0.01-0.06. The catalyst is obtained by adding an A solution which is an aqueous solution containing a metal salt, the quaternary alkylammonium cation and the inorganic salt and a B solution comprising an aqueous silicate solution into a C solution comprising an aqueous solution of an agent for ionic regulation to reduce the change of the concentration of each liquid, further grinding the mixture, dividing the mixture and performing a hydrothermal synthesis by warming up from a room temperature to 150-190 deg.C. Pt or Ga is preferably supported on the catalyst in 0.25-1.5wt.%.
