MULTIPLE GLASS AND SPACER USED THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively and simply obtain laminated glass excellent in moistureproof performance by using a specific composite multilayer film as a moistureproof layer introduced on the outside of a spacer made of a resin. SOLUTION: This multiple glass is obtained by opposing two or more sheets of glass plates 1a and 1b at a prescribed interval through a spacer 1c on the peripheral part of two or more sheets of glass and the spacer 1c comprises an inner layer 2 comprising a thermoplastic resin containing a hygroscopic material and a moistureproof layer 3 comprising a composite multilayer film laminated on outer peripheral side of the inside layer and the composite multilayer film contains one or more layer structures obtained by laminating heat-resistant thermoplastic resin layers on both side faces of a vinylidene chloride-based resin layer. In the multiple glass, the spacer 1 has preferably further a layer composed of a thermosetting or thermoplastic resin. Steam permeability of the thermoplastic resin constituting the inside layer is preferably <=0.1g/(m<2> /day) under 95% relative humidity at 25 deg.C.
