<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sealing ability of a pipe coupling for a polybutene pipe. SOLUTION: A polybutene pipe 4 is fastened against a coupling body 2, consisting of a tube insertion part 5 in which a polybutene pipe 4 is inserted, a screw part 3, and a nut part 6, by a C-shaped fastening member 11 made of a sheet metal. A pair of flanges 13 and 13A are arranged at the C-shaped fastening member 11, and the flanges 13 and 13A are fastened by a bolt 14 and a nut 16 to contract the C-shaped member 11. In this case, since a piece 22 nipped between the flanges 13 and 13A is pressed against the polybutene pipe 4 for fastening, a whole periphery is uniformly fastened and sealing ability is improved.</p> |
