<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily handle a paper jam when it occurs in a turnover paper discharge passage as well as to make this paper discharging device usable in a space-saving manner. SOLUTION: A turnover paper discharging passage 5, turning over both sides of paper P, is composed of a fixed guide 6 and a movable guide 8 being installed at the outside at a specified interval, and its rear end part in the paper traveling direction is rotatably supported by a pin 9 at the vicinity on an inlet 7 of this passage 5. In addition, one end of a paper discharge tray 12 of a straight paper discharge part 3 is rotatably installed in close proximity to the pin 9 being turned to a supporting part of the movable guide 8. Consequently, this movable guide 8 and the paper discharge tray 12 are opened or closed in joint use of almost the same air space. Therefore, as compared with such a case where they are opened or closed at each individual position separated, the effective utilization of a setup space is well promoted and, what is more, any paper jam at the turnover paper discharging passages 5 can be easily handled by opening of the movable guide 8.</p> |
