SODIUM RECOVERING METHOD FROM SODIUM-SULFUR BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient Na recovering method from a used sodium- sulfur battery capable of reducing the time for recverding Na with simple and small facility. SOLUTION: After an opening of NaS battery 11 used is opened, one or more NaS batteries are stored and held in a partitions plate 15 in a heating vessel 13 so that the opening is downward. After Na is flown out from the opening by elapsing the time for Na fusion or more, the NaS battery 11 where Na is flown out is fetched from the partition plate 15 in the heating vessel 13, and another opened NaS battery 11 of the fetched number is stored and held in an empty place of the partition plate 15 where the NaS battery is fetched.
