<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dummy plate having no sensitivity to fingerprint and aging. SOLUTION: The dummy plate for offset print comprises an aluminum support of mechanically and/or electrochemically roughened, anodized and hydrophilized plate, sheet or band state, and a non-photosensitive water soluble layer coated on the support and containing at least one type of organic polymer having water solubility of 2g/L at the ambient temperature and at least one type of inorganic compound reacting as an acid. The plate has no problem even after a long term preservation period, and can be used for a printer without other process.</p> |
