<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor capable of surely reducing the cost. SOLUTION: One end of each of coils 10 and 11 is connected to each end of variable resistance 16. The other end of each of the coils 10 and 11 and the variable terminal of the variable resistance 16 are led out of a housing to the outside via a harness. The other end of the harness is connected to a controller board provided for a predetermined part not exposed to a high- temperature atmosphere in an engine room. A signal processing circuit 21 which executes signal processing for obtaining the torque generated in a steering system and a motor driving circuit 22 which supplies an electric motor with a driving current I so as to generate steering auxiliary torque according to the signal processing results of the signal processing circuit 21 are configured on the controller board 20. A signal processing circuit 21 has two electric resistances R which have the same resistance value and whose terminals are connected to each other, and forms a bridge circuit containing the coils 10 and 11 in a state of parallel by the electric resistances R and the coils 10 and 11.</p> |
