PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a molded article having excellent surface quality by a method wherein a gate flow passage is connected through an opening part to a cavity so as to pour a molten plastic material in the gate flow passage and then by moving a piston along the gate flow passage on the opening part, discontinue the molten plastic material flowing in the cavity and cut it off. SOLUTION: Under the condition that a mold 10 is closed, a first and a second mold portions 11 and 12 joint with each other along a parting surface 13, resulting in forming a cavity 14 having a structure corresponding to the shape of the subject of a production. The molten plastic material 32 poured in a gate channel 20 extending through the first and the second mold portions 11 and 12 normal to the parting surface 13 if the mold 10 flows through an influx port 22 into the cavity 14. When the material is filled in the cavity 14 and the shrinkage of the molten plastic material 32 is compensated at its letting cool, a value main body such as a piston 25 runs in the gate channel 20 so as to cover the inflow port 22 in order to discontinue the molten plastic material 32 flowing in the cavity 14 and cut off the further extending plastic material. |
