PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyvinyl alcohol molding having an excellent appearance, a high impact strength even at a low temperature and a low humidity, and high strength and Young's modulus even at a high humidity. SOLUTION: This molding comprises (A) a polyvinyl alcohol polymer and (B) rubber particles. The rubber particles (B) comprise a rubber component having a glass transition temp. of 5 deg.C or below and an average particle diameter of 5μm or shorter and a polyvinyl alcohol polymer (C) bonded to the surfaces thereof. The weight ratio of the rubber component in the rubber particles (B) to the whole polyvinyl alcohol polymer is in the range of 0.03 to 2.
