<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive charge toner which has excellent positive charge property and fixing stability and offset resistance with extremely little spent for a carrier and which contains no or a minute amt. of charge controlling agent. SOLUTION: This positive charge toner contains at least a binder resin and a coloring agent, and the binder resin consists of 30 to 60wt.% styrene copolymer having a peak in 3000 to 10000mol.wt. range of the mol.wt. distribution measured by GPC(gel permeation chromatography) and 40 to 70wt.% styrene copolymer having a peak in 100000 to 500000mol.wt. range. The acid value of the binder resin is <=1mgKOH/g. The coloring agent is a carbon black having pH>=7. Further, the binder resin contains a resin (C) having 5 to 200mgKOH/g amine value which contains a monomer component having nitrogen-contg. functional groups. The amt. of the resin (C) added is determined in such a manner that the product of pts.wt. of the resin (C) to 100 pts.wt. of the binder resin and the amine value ranges 15 to 300.</p> |
