CELL CONNECTION METHOD USING TWO PILOT CHANNELS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a simple cell plan and fast initial synchronization by allowing a mobile station to use one channel in two pilot channels for a cluster pilot and to use the other channel for a cell pilot and setting synchronization to the cell pilot through the cluster synchronization channel. SOLUTION: In the code division multiple access system(CDMA) acting as the quasi-synchronization system, connection between a base station controller 41 and a base station 42 is configured by a wired line or a radio network and the base station controller 41 sends a synchronizing signal to each base station 42. Then a mobile station 43 uses one channel of two pilot channels as a cluster pilot and sets synchronization to the cluster pilot and uses the other channel for a cell pilot and sets synchronization to the cell pilot through the cluster synchronization channel set already.
