PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration method which can enhance the accuracy and establish a quickened, facilitated, and automated operations by removing the error due to differences between individuals in operation. SOLUTION: The calibration method for camera according to the invension comprises such processes that an object concerned 14 consisting of a number of studded reference marks K0, K1, K2, SK with known positional relationship is photographed in a plurality of copies, an image is cut out based upon the approximate positions of reference marks K0, K1, K2 as part of them, and that setting the correspondence of measuring points is made automatically where the reference marks in the cut-out image are considered as measuring points. |
