The burner is formed as a tubular body with internal throttling for producing suitable gas recirculation. The internal throttling in the tubular body produces a suitable gas recirculation for flame stabilisation and admixture of the backwardly flowing gases in the main flow, so that the admixture together with the arrangement for secondary air feed partly provides for a soot-free combustion and partly a low content of nitrous oxides.
