FIELD: sealing technology; oil-and-gas industry. SUBSTANCE: method consists in separate application of components on threaded surfaces of pipes and coupling followed by application of grease on outer threaded surface in amount of 93 to 99 mas.% containing mineral oil, bentonite and graphite. To ensure reliable sealing of threaded joints at negative ambient temperature, inner threaded surface shall be first coated with latex paste and glycerine at the following ratio of components, mas.%: glycerine, 31-33; latex paste, the balance up to 100%.
