A device (100) for fixing one or more monolithic filters (10) of fritted material in a tubular envelope (5) forming part of a purifier for vent gas, each filter being held axially by means pushing against a union (6) fixed to the envelope, comprises: (i) a central core (110) with radial fins (116) fixed to the envelope by the ends of the fins; and (ii) a spring (120) fixed at its centre to the core and containing a number of elastic feet (122) allowing the vent gas to pass through to the filter, the free ends pressing against a peripheral collar on the face of the filter.
