An automatic opening and closing device of the car carriage box cover having connected to one side of a cover by the clamp means; a key box; a handling means mounted to the key box to issue order to open or close the cover; a driving motor rotated in both directions according to the order of the handling means; a pair of winding drums winding wire to open or close the cover by the rotation of the driving motor; a wire winding/rewinding support shaft mounted rotatively to the inner separating wall of the winding drum to (re)winding wire; an elastic means which one end is fixed to the wire winding/rewinding support shaft and the other end is connected to the cover; a pair of pulleys mounted to back side of the carriage box to guide wire (re)winded to(from) the winding drum toward the winding/rewinding support shaft ; and a support shaft supporting rotatively the pulleys is disclosed.
