The brush cleaning device has a housing (2) and a housing axis (L) which rotates the brush layout (12,13). A nozzle (14) then outputs cleaning fluid on to the brush set up. A feed aperture (7,7') reaches to the side of the housing in the direction of the housing axis, to let the brush to be cleaned into the housing. A support (8) is built for the brush to be cleaned, near the aperture. There may be an opening in the bottom of the housing to enable the cleaning fluid to be taken away. The feed aperture and the opening that allows the fluid to be taken away are built from a similar opening. The brush set up may comprise at least two brushes that are staggered along the axis of the housing.
