COSMETIC AND/OR PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATIONS

The invention relates to novel cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical preparations which contain (a) dialkyl carbonates of the formula (I), in which R<1> is a linear alkyl radical and/or alkenyl radical with 6 to 22 carbon atoms, a 2-ethylhexyl, isotridecyl or isostearyl radical or a radical which is derived from a polyhydric alcohol with 2 to 15 carbon atoms and at least two hydroxyl groups, R<2> is R<1> or an alkyl radical with 1 to 5 carbon atoms, and n and m are independently of each other 0 or numbers from 1 to 100, and (b) emulsifying agents. The preparations are characterised by particularly sensory properties, dialkyl carbonates being proven to be equivalent substitutes for silicone oils.
