The device has a tape store (5) formed as at least two coilers (4a,4b) located in the handling line. The coilers have drums (6,7) and a switch (11) is connected to the coilers. A tape shearing device (12) is located upstream of the coilers. A driver (10,14) is located upstream and downstream of the coilers. A shaft (18), with limited rotation in the circumferential direction, is located inside the drums and equipped with a clamping sleeve (17) and clamping protrusion.
