Anti-brake lock eccentric camshaft

A multi-piece eccentric camshaft (20) forming part of an automotive anti-blocking brake system, has a cylindrical core (22). A cylindrical hole (26) is drilled in one end of the shaft (20). The hole centre-axis is offset from the shaft centre axis. A cylindrical pin (30) is locked pref. press-fitted in the hole. The pin surface is pref. milled or grooved (32). The pin may have a cylindrical hole (34) drilled in its free end which may receive a second cylindrical pin whose axis is close to that of the main centre-shaft axis. The axis of the hole in the cylindrical pin is parallel and in line with the axis of the base.
