Laboratory vibrating/shaking table unit for sieving or milling

The machine has a vibrating table 20 onto which a number of material sieves or milling elements may be placed. The table has an armature 16 that is fixed to three leaf springs 15 that are secured to a main body 10. The body is supported on a spring suspension system 5 on a base 2 which is part of a main housing. Axially in line with the armature is an electromagnet 12 and this is excited at a frequency given by a generator that is controlled based upon a comparison of actual and reference values.
