摘要 Strips (34) and interposed channels (35) in the ring gap between valve needle guide (13) and valve orifice so define the flow path and thus the flow throughput as to vary the section of the flow path round the circumference of the gap specified. Thus the disc (32) used to control the flow has its own opening (33) and is arranged between the ring-seated valve orifice and the needle guide so that the valve needle reaches through the valve orifice and the disc opening (33) with the result that the valve sealing head, working with the valve seat, bears on this when the valve is closed. The disc should be clamped in between valve plate and needle guide whose disc-adjoining surface has feed grooves reaching to the edge of the disc opening (33). The grooves join the opening (33) at a tangent so the fuel is slung circumferentially into the flow gap. The needle guide is itself recessed to flow fuel to the interposed channels (35) through a guide bore which, like the valve opening, is expanded near the channels (35).
